Kentucky Falls
If you find getting to Devils Staircase a bit overwhelming (eight round-trip bushwhacking miles over the steepest terrain in Oregon), visit nearby Kentucky Falls instead. There's a trail and it's only "moderately" difficult. The falls are spectacular, too.
